Laugh More, Play More
Imagine in your loungeroom there's a big dial on the wall. It's got a label above it that says FUN METER. It adjusts automatically every day depending on how much fun you're having in your marriage. The dial reads from 1 to 10.
What does it read for your marriage right now?
To be happy in our marriage we need an element of life and fun. There should be playful moments, plenty of laughter and mutual enjoyment.
Laughter, play, and fun are important factors that help build strong connections between people. Check out this quote:
Laughter is like emotional glue - Ps Phil Pringle
I love this. How much are you laughing in your marriage? It's a powerful adhesive in your emotional connection.

And this quote is always a good reminder:
“Laughter is the shortest distance between two people”
When was the last time you laughed hard together? Take a second and think about it.
Keep diving in and let’s get practical below 👇
// TRY THIS
Choose one NEW activity to do this weekend
To stay connected you need to be intentional. But that doesn’t mean it has to be boring or the same as you’ve always done.
Write down separately 5 things in your city or town that you’d love to try. It can be anything from a new cafe, axe throwing, a spin class or a new hiking trail.
Compare notes and pick one. Now go and make any arrangements you need to make it happen (reservation, baby sitter, etc)
Enjoy!
